Residential Service
We offer weekly on-time curbside pickup of your trash. Place your filled trash cart or bag(s) at the end of your driveway and our professional service staff will take care of the rest.
Service Details
Sticker Service:
Purchase service stickers from us, place 1 sticker per 30 gallon bag and place by the road. No monthly service charge.
Cart Service:
96 gallon cart trash limit- the amount of trash that will fill the cart plus three 30 gallon bags along side every week.
Yard Waste Service
Leaves, branches plants, grass clippings, weeds, etc. We make yard waste disposal simple and painless. Just place your yard waste in your Herrington’s yard container and we will take care of the rest.
Pickups are scheduled weekly, please place on the other side of the driveway than trash containers. Please check the service list for service days for your area.
Christmas Tree Collection
- You must call the office and order pick up prior to collection day. There will be an extra charge.
- Christmas trees will be picked up during the month of January only. Call for schedule.

Rent a 96 gallon cart from us. Limit of the yard waste that will fill the cart plus 5 paper yard waste bags along the outside every week.
Recycling Service
We cannot deny the incredible impact and benefits that recycling has on the environment. We’re dedicated to reducing the amount of waste that can possibly accumulate by recycling what is collected. With our single-stream system there’s no need to sort your items, just place all of your recyclables in your recycling container and set it curbside for pickup.
Picked up every other week, please place on the other side of the driveway than trash containers.
Recycling Guide
Accepted Items:
- Plastic containers stamped #1 thru #7: Including milk jugs, water bottles, peanut butter jars, butter tubs, yogurt cups, plan flats, prescription bottles. All must be cleaned. Caps, lids and rings are to be removed and discarded with refuse. No Styrofoam.
- Plastic Grocery Bags #2 & #4 Only: remove coupons & receipts. Must be clean and dry. No other plastic bags accepted.
- Glass: Clear and colored food and beverage containers. All must be cleaned. Caps, lids and rings are to be removed and discarded with refuse. No windows, ceramics or drinking glasses.
- Metal: food and beverage containers, pie tin, aluminum foil, empty aerosol cans with cap, nozzle and labels removed. All must be cleaned.
- Mixed paper: Newspaper*, brown bags, magazines*, junk mail, paperboard(ex. Cereal Boxes), computer paper, shredded paper.
Unaccepted Items:
- Yard & Garden: weed killer, fertilizer, rodent & bug poison, charcoal lighter fluid, pool chemicals, deck cleaner & sealer.
- Home Improvement: oil based paint & stain, wood preservative, cleaning products, metal & wood polish, paint thinner, adhesive & glue.
- Garage & Automotive: antifreeze, motor oil, automotive fluid, gas & gas-oil mix, fuel additives, windshield washer fluid.
- Miscellaneous: fluorescent light bulbs, mercury thermometers & thermostats, batteries (household), fire extinguishers, aerosol cans.
- Swimming Pool Covers, liners or wading pools
- Automotive parts or scrap metal
- Swing Sets, Lawn Furniture, Chain link fencing
- Building or remodeling scraps(aluminum doors, windows, siding or nails)
- Broken Windows, dishes or or drinking glasses
- Styrofoam
*Note: Newspapers, magazines and catalogs only may be placed in brown paper grocery bag. Do not use string, twine, top, etc.
You must call the office to request this service. Do not place recycling with refuse at the curb. Do not place recycling in cans, carts or barrels unless clearly marked “Recycling” in large letters.
Personal garbage container may be used for recycling.
Place recycling on opposite side of driveway from refuse.
Commercial Service
We offer 2yd-8yd dumpsters for your business or commercial property. Pickups are weekly. You can also contact us to schedule a collection.
